Creative Knitters is how we help you on your journey, with more support, learning, inspiration and connection. It’s not just about our yarn and patterns - it’s about finding something that helps you and makes you better and diving deep into that inner artist inside you!
Membership will include a $10 credit to use towards the site monthly, fun surprise bonuses like a holiday yarn gift, early access to new yarns and so much more. You'll be able to roll over that $10 credit month to month too. Membership will be open for one week and then we'll get the party started. I plan to reopen in 6 to 12 months again at potentially a higher price. Your voice will be listened to closely as we continue to shape this community (surveys are my best friend!). This is a safe, inclusive space for all and we welcome you join in the fun and community.
Here is what you get!
1 ~ Knitting and crochet help when you need it. Each week, you are free to sign up for a 30 minute coaching call with our very own knitting and crochet teachers (and experts!) Cheryl and Anne. These will be held on zoom. You're free to ask her questions about any yarn or pattern. Our goal is to help you finish more projects with the least amount of pain and ripping out!
2 ~ A video vault: This is geared to all levels of knitters and spans knitting basics and beyond. Right when you join, you’ll get access to the 130 videos tutorials - simple basics like – how to read a yarn label, what is the difference between yarn weights, our favorite tools, simple cast on and knit stitch tutorials. You’ll also find more advanced tutorials on short rows, colorwork, lace, blocking, brioche, intarsia and more! This year, teacher Cheryl, is leading us in a stitch a month class, where we learn and end the year with a patchwork blanket.
3 ~ Classes – In the past year we started learning packed classes! We've had leading guest industry teachers such as Toni Lipsy, Paula Pereira, Amanda Solomon and others as well as team members from Knit Collage that lead us in events. Some upcoming events we'll be learning how to design our own hat patterns with Shaina Billow, advanced tuck stitches with Meika John and we'll learn about color theory from Alexi Tavel of Two of Wands. At the end of the year, our goal is for you to look back and see how much you have learned! These are all held on zoom and recorded.
4 ~ We host our community in a private FB group and will encourage you to connect and cheerlead each other. Posts here can be about any project, any yarn. We love it all! We’ll also host Zoom calls every week in addition to the monthly class events. The times alternate between a Saturday morning at 11am ET and a week night at 7:30pm ET. All of them are recorded if you would like to watch them later.
5 ~ Early access to our make-alongs, new yarns and kits and sale items. Yarns sell out quickly, especially because of the global shipping crisis - yarns are taking longer than ever to get here. Make sure you get the color combination you want with early access!
6 ~ A $10 credit to use towards our site monthly. This will roll over if you don't use it one month. If you feel moved, simply use it all on a make-along kit when that time rolls around!
7 ~ Fun surprise bonuses (a holiday yarn gift), free shipping on occasion, early access to the make-along and products - STAY TUNED. These will be a SURPRISE and is values at $40.
