We're excited to participate in Olive Knits 7th Annual 4-Day Knitalong featuring  the Lemon Spritz tee, designed by Marie Greene. We've paired this design with Zooey, a lovely 60% cotton/40% linen yarn by Juniper Moon Farm. Zooey aligns with the fiber recommendations with great texture and lovely hand.

According to the designer, "With easy, comfortable raglan shaping, lacy details in the lower body, and delightful “lemon leaf” ties on the short sleeves, you’ll have a gorgeous quick-knit top just in time for warm weather wear.

In a nod to summer sips, we’ve knit samples in a range of berry and herb-inspired colorways. Think Strawberry Lemon Spritz, Blueberry Lemon Spritz, Basil Lemon Spritz, Blackberry Lemon Spritz – get creative!

Construction This tee is knit from the top down in the round, in one seamless piece. At the underarm, the sleeves are separated from the body (to be finished afterward), and the lower body features bold lace details that are easy to memorize. The neckline features a quick and easy “rolled” edge, and the short sleeves are framed with a perpendicular garter edge and lemon leaf ties.

For extra fun, try working the garter edge and/or your lemon leaf ties in a contrasting color!
